The most common way to travel from Japan to Phu Quoc Island is to fly from Ho Chi Minh City. The flight takes about an hour, so you'll arrive in no time. This time, I traveled to Phu Quoc Island from another country, so I used Vietnam Airlines for one of my return flights, and check-in was smooth and there was not much of a line.
