Dương Đông is the best urbanized urban center on the island. The first airport on the island used to operate here, but after the construction of a new one, it is slowly being absorbed by the city. You can recognize the place by the still-functioning runway, which is a city bypass allowing you to bypass the crowded center. Most tourists bypass it, but it is this one - Sùng Hưng Cổ Tự - that is the oldest brick temple on the island. It was built in the late 19th century.
