🌈Highlights: [One] Built in the 14th century, it is one of the oldest buildings in Ayutthaya and a witness to the glorious history of the Ayutthaya Kingdom. [Two] It is famous for its reclining Buddha and pagoda. The reclining Buddha is 28 meters long and beautifully shaped. The main pagoda is 62 meters high and was built in 1357 to commemorate Thailand's victory over Burma. It houses a large number of Buddhist relics and historical and cultural heritage. [Three] There are many Buddha statues next to the pagoda. The heads and bodies of the statues were not made in the same era. Some of the bodies were cut off when the post road was built, and later rebuilt. [Four] It is a filming location for some scenes in the movie "Lost in Thailand" and the 1986 version of "Journey to the West." [Five] The main pagoda is one of the few temples in Ayutthaya Historical Park that can be climbed. You can enjoy a panoramic view of Ayutthaya from the top. [Six] Many local believers come to worship and pray.
