Wat Phutthaisawan Royal Monastery

Wat Phutthaisawan Royal Monastery in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya is an ancient temple from the Ayutthaya period, approximately 670 years old. It is one of the few temples that were not destroyed during the fall of Ayutthaya. This large temple combines ancient ruins with modern structures. A notable feature is the main prang, which is old yet sturdy, and visitors can walk up to pay respects to the Buddha images at its four corners. In the ancient ruins zone, there are various viharns, chedis, reclining Buddha statues, and other Buddha images to explore.
