Diving into Ko Phi Phi

Learning to dive in Ko Phi Phi is like discovering another world just beneath the surface. Warm, turquoise waters and coral reefs buzzing with life make it an unforgettable classroom. Day one was nerves and theory. By day three, I was hovering weightless beside clownfish and sea turtles, completely hooked. Earning my Open Water certification here felt like more than just ticking a box—it was a real achievement. Descending into the blue for the first time is surreal. The silence, the slow rhythm of your breath, the feeling of floating in a vast, alien world—there’s nothing like it! Phi Phi island is stunning above water, but it’s what lies below that really stays with you. Schools of fish, intricate coral gardens, giant clams and sea urchins, and the sense that you’re a guest in someone else’s kingdom. I didn’t just learn to dive—I fell in love with the sea. I learned with Princess Divers who are based on Phi Phi, completing my Open Water course with SSI - they were very professional and I'd love to dive with them again! #scubadiving #adventuremoments #thailand #phiphi
