Quickly save this 2-day, 1-night practical family guide! 🗺️ Travel Guide Day 1: Chengdu → Taiyangwan Scenic Area for autumn hiking → Tianbao Hot Spring Hotel ✔️ For our first parent-child hike of autumn, we visited Taiyangwan. A sightseeing bus takes you directly to the mountaintop to experience the misty clouds after the rain. Hike down the mountain, enjoying and collecting autumn treasures along the way, and you might even encounter little monkeys. This place holds so many surprises! ✔️ After descending the mountain, head straight to the hotel. It's like stepping into a secret realm of Shu culture. Dining at the restaurant, the wooden windows resemble an ancient Chinese painting. In the evening, soak in a hot spring amidst the autumn scenery – it's simply wonderful! ✔️ Be sure to check in and collect your hiking challenge medal! It's really, really, really cute/cool. For the medal, we can come again! Day 2: Baoshan Cultural Center → Go-karting → Shishang Restaurant → Strolling around the ecological farm → Pottery handicraft → Yunli Coffee → Return trip ✔️ Inside Baoshan Cultural Center, there's a huge book collection room. Grab a book and sit by the window; inside and outside, all are beautiful views. ✔️ Not far from there is the Go-karting Club. We took the kids to experience the thrill of go-karting – they loved it so much they didn't want to get off! ✔️ For lunch, we chose Shishang Restaurant. It offers country-style dishes and wild mountain flavors, all seasonal, ensuring a safe meal for the little ones. Outside the window is a grand autumn scene, with misty clouds and rich autumn colors. ✔️ Stroll through the ecological farm's flower paths and encounter little 🐱. Experience the charm of pottery making at the pottery handicraft workshop. Then, relax at Yunli Coffee, which offers coffee, Western food, a reading area, and a scenic terrace. The forest mountains are right before your eyes, allowing you to immerse yourself in the leisurely and beautiful feeling of being in a painting – you won't want to leave! I truly regret only discovering this amazing place now! Compared to crowded popular attractions during holidays, this is the right way to open up a family trip!
