Penghu Two-Day Travel Transportation Info

Summer in Penghu may be scorching, but it's the best time to visit the sea. For this trip, I chose to fly from Taipei Songshan Airport. Although the airfare was about NT$2,000 more expensive than a ferry ticket, the overall comfort and time efficiency were significantly better. For transportation on the island, I opted to rent a mini electric scooter (no license required). Most of the attractions are concentrated on Penghu Main Island and Xiyu. The scooter's maximum speed is about 50 km/hr, and it takes approximately 25 minutes to travel from Magong City to the Cross-Sea Bridge. Along the way, there are plenty of charging stations, and you can also swap batteries at 7-11 stores, making the experience very convenient and user-friendly.
