Ghee Hiang Bakery in Penang

Ghee Hiang is famous for their handmade traditional pastries and sesame oil. The popular items are Tambun biscuits or Tau Sar Pneah, Phong Pneah, Heong Pneah (my favorite), Beh Teh Saw, and Almond Cookies, and also modern creations like sesame crips and matcha crips. I love the crips so much, really tasty! Now they even have coffee and beverages. Will try them some days. They have changed their packaging into a more luxurious look, but the quantity has reduced. I prefer the old ones, more value for money. Ghee Hiang has an outlet in Sunshine Farlim Shopping Mall Penang, another alternative other than their crowded main store at Beach Street.
