Art Museums of Paris

Paris is famous for romance, fashion, and art. Throughout the city I saw artists replicating beautiful landscapes on canvas, and even in art museums, painters are intimately studying famous artworks by painting replicas right next to the art piece. Perhaps most famously is the Louvre, with its iconic pyramid outside and housing the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo inside its vast halls. The Mona Lisa is actually very small and overshadowed by the crowds of tourists trying to catch a photo with her. My personal favorite is Musee d’Orsay, which is housed in an old railway station, and includes many of Van Gogh’s famous paintings. I also enjoyed Musee de l’Orange, which had Monet’s masterpieces and other impressionist work. Another smaller a quieter museum is the Rodin Museum, where The Thinker statue can be found showcased in the gardens. True art lovers must #visitparis #paris #france #museum #artmuseum
