Panzhihua Park is located on a small hill. At the entrance flower bed, the inscription reads, "A sunny and healthy land, the heroic Panzhihua." The first part refers to the natural environment, while the second part pays tribute to the pioneers of the Third Front Movement. We walked up the hill. Our first destination was the Panzhihua Park Zoo. Panzhihua is indeed a city of sunshine, with intense direct sunlight, but walking on the shaded paths in the mountains felt just right. The Panzhihua Zoo requires an entrance fee, and different animal exhibits have different prices. We weren't particularly interested in the animals. We were just there for exercise, so we passed by the zoo, glanced at it from afar, and continued our walk around the mountain. Panzhihua Park, located in the center of Panzhihua City, was established in April 1972. It is a large, open mountain park. It has six functional areas: a sports area, a cultural and educational area, a leisure activity area, a botanical science area, an animal viewing area, and a waterscape ecological area. Although it was early spring, it was indeed warm and sunny, with blooming flowers, pavilions, and the sounds of birds and insects. We also saw squirrels from time to time. It was very peaceful and elegant. Panzhihua University is located at the foot of Panzhihua Park, making one envious of the school. Panzhihua University is very large, divided into several areas along the mountain of Panzhihua Park from south to north. We also saw the Panzhihua Health and Wellness Institute, a very tall high-rise building that looked like an office building. It could probably also serve as a star-rated hotel and might not be part of the university.
