#Tham Lod or Nam Lod Cave, Pang Mapha, Mae Hong Son Province One of the Unseen Thailand👍 If there hadn't been a sign at the Pai Walking Street that day about Tham Lod, we wouldn't have made it today. This cave is thousands of years old and completely dark inside (it's a cave, after all). There's an entrance fee and a guide fee, which includes a local guide with a 🔥hurricane lantern🔥. The cave contains naturally formed stalactites and stalagmites. Flashlights are not allowed, as exposure to light can cause the rocks to stop growing. There are three more chambers inside, one of which is "Tham Phi Man." It's a must-see for anyone visiting, especially those who come to the final cave. This is the highlight. There's a raft ride up to Tham Phi Man, home to the Phi Man coffin, an ancient wooden coffin belonging to an ancient caveman. ^^ Small children should only be able to access Chamber 1, as it's the only flat chamber. Chambers 2 and 3 require a rather steep flight of stairs. You can bring drinking water in, but please don't leave any trash inside. 🙂 ❤️❤️❤️ I didn't read the reviews when I went in, so I went empty-handed. Let me tell you, I was out of breath.
