Soaking your feet in the pools of water here and there can be a soothing experience, and the vibrant colors of the water blending beautifully with the natural landscape make for a truly photogenic experience. Nearby Pamukkale are the ruins of Hierapolis, making it a great place to enjoy both history and nature, and a full day is all you need to explore. The views from here are truly spectacular, and I couldn't put my camera down. On a downside, the white limestone can be hot and sore on sunny days, and when there are a lot of tourists, it can be difficult to take quiet photos. If you aim for an early morning or late afternoon, you'll have a much more leisurely time. Pamukkale is a must-see destination on your trip to Turkey.
