Palermo Day Trip

Palermo is the central city and capital of Sicily. It is also a major transportation hub. You can catch an overnight train to mainland Italy or access the airport from here. 💛 I spent half a day in Palermo while waiting to take a train to mainland Italy. The atmosphere of Palermo, often referred to as the city of the Mafia, felt distinctly different from other Sicilian cities I visited. ♥️ As a bustling metropolis, Palermo offered more attractions compared to smaller Sicilian towns. It also seemed to have relatively affordable prices. 💙 Unfortunately, due to my schedule, I could only spend half a day in Palermo, which felt too short. If I visit Sicily again, I would love to fully experience this fascinating city. 😉 💕 With its abundance of great restaurants and attractions, Palermo seems to encapsulate the charm of Sicily.
