It's Khao Yai, located about a three-hour drive from Bangkok, and it's blowing up on social media in Thailand, Singapore, and Taiwan, China – it's poised to become the next Instagrammable hotspot in Thailand! Khao Yai is most famous for its pristine and beautiful national park, which is the second largest in Thailand. It has won awards in global National Park competitions and has been designated as a UNESCO Natural Heritage site. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Khao Yai is home to many natural wonders and wildlife, including the famous City of Elephants. The SLH hotel I stayed at, Mala Kiri Khao Yai, with only 18 rooms, is a boutique hotel in Khao Yai that is well worth experiencing! The flower-filled meadows and organic gardens are favorite playgrounds for children, while adults can enjoy coffee or pick fresh vegetables and fruits, and experience outdoor barbecues and cooking.
