📍Myoho-ji Temple A temple belonging to the Myoshin-ji school of the Rinzai sect, founded by the second lord of the Ozu domain, Kato Yasuoki, with Bankei Eitaku as its founder. The Nyoho-ji Buddha Hall is a rare structure that also functions as a Zen hall, with the Shaka Nyorai statue, the principal image of the temple, enshrined in the center of the building, forming the space for the Buddha Hall, and on both sides are tatami rooms for monks to practice.
