[Tochigi] Suga Shrine

[Access] JR Ryomo Line, Shonan Shinjuku Line, Shinkansen - about 10 minutes on foot from Oyama Station [Points] ~ Recommended sightseeing spots in Oyama City ~ Suga Shrine is a little walk from the station, but it is a sightseeing spot that is always on the map for sightseeing around Oyama Station. It is said to have been built by Fujiwara Hidesato in 940. It is said that Tokugawa Ieyasu held the Oyama Council in the grounds of Suga Shrine in 1600, and prayed for victory in the Battle of Sekigahara there, which was fulfilled.
