[An island with a beach with extremely clear water]

📍Kashiwajima, Kochi Prefecture Kashiwajima, Kochi Prefecture, is surrounded by waters so clear that it looks as if the boat is floating in the air. You can observe corals and colorful tropical fish even in shallow waters, making it perfect for swimming, fishing, and marine activities. Kashiwajima is a small island in Otsuki Town, on the southwestern tip of Kochi Prefecture, with a circumference of about 4km and connected to the Otsuki Peninsula by two bridges. The beautiful emerald green waters surrounding the island are noted for their high transparency throughout the year. The reason for this is that the Kuroshio Current means that there are almost no impurities such as plankton and sediment in the sea, and there are no large rivers nearby, so domestic wastewater does not flow into the sea.
