Snowy Otaru, Love in the Snow Country

Stepping into Otaru is like falling into a dreamlike snow country, and my heart is filled with inexplicable joy. Here, it is as quiet and leisurely as a peach blossom village. Although the area is not large, it is full of charm. Tourists come and go, shuttling through the snow. The snow under my feet creaked, as if the snow was whispering. I accidentally slipped and fell hard, but the pain disappeared in an instant. Perhaps it was the gentle caress of the snow that dispelled the pain. Many pedestrians on the road also encounter this situation. After looking at each other and smiling, everyone moves forward cautiously. The steps under their feet become more careful, but it also adds a bit of exploration fun. Take the JR from Sapporo Station to Minami Otaru, and the bustling shopping street is the first thing that catches your eye. There are many whistle shops on the street, and the dazzling glass crafts in the shops shine with charming brilliance under the snow light, and each one seems to hide the story of the small town. Walking to the Otaru Canal, time seems to stand still. The snow on both sides of the canal is covered with snow, and the river flows slowly, like an elegant ink painting. Along the canal, walk towards Funamizaka, which is a classic scene in the Japanese drama "First Love". Although I was unable to continue on the road to Mount Tengu to complete the long-awaited pilgrimage, this regret also added a different color to this trip, making people look forward to the next reunion. The snow is falling, falling on my shoulders, but I don't feel the cold, but there is an indescribable warmth.
