Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum

📍Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum Address: Więźniów Oświęcimia 55, 32-600 Oświęcim, Poland Auschwitz is a world-famous historical site in Poland. Many people lost their lives here during World War II. It's now a museum, attracting visitors from all over the world. It can be reached by bus or train from the Polish city of Krakow, and I took a tour. It's about an hour and a half from Krakow, and I recommend taking a bus tour, which includes a guided tour. At the entrance is the famous gate that reads "ARBEIT MACHT FREI (Work Makes You Free)." Inside, the building remains as it was. Inside, many of the shoes and bags used by the victims are on display. I visited in December, and it was freezing cold just standing there listening to the guide's talk. It was heartbreaking to think about what life was like back then. It gives the impression of being more of a place to learn than a tourist destination, and it made me feel more grateful for the peaceful life I live now.
