Tennoji Zoo: Enjoy Tsutenkaku Tower and wild animals of the savanna together

Tennoji Zoo I went to Tennoji Zoo in January. Tennoji Zoo opened in 1915 and is the third oldest zoo in Japan. The 11-hectare zoo is home to 1,000 animals of 200 different species, and it takes at least an hour to see them all. It takes about 4-5 hours if it's crowded or you want to take a good look at the animals. Tennoji Zoo is conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from the station. It's also close to Shinsekai, so there's a phenomenon where Tsutenkaku stands on the backs of wild animals in the savanna. However, the zoo is filled with savanna-like plants, rocks, and waterfalls, making you forget that you're in the middle of a city.
