Let's Visit the Osaka-Kansai Expo

The Osaka-Kansai Expo, running until October 13, 2025, is a grand festival where you can experience the cultures of various countries. Each country's pavilion is uniquely designed, making even just admiring their exteriors an enjoyable experience. One of the highlights is the Great Roof Ring, a dynamic structure that incorporates traditional Japanese architectural techniques. Its sheer height and size are awe-inspiring. The top of the Great Roof Ring serves as a promenade where visitors can take a leisurely stroll. With escalators and elevators available, even elderly visitors can easily access the upper levels. The shops offer a wide range of adorable merchandise featuring the official mascot, Myakumyaku. The park is well-equipped with plenty of restrooms, so you won't face much inconvenience. There are also numerous vending machines and water dispensers. Note that all purchases are cashless, so be sure to prepare accordingly. Some pavilions require reservations, so it's a good idea to check the official website in advance. I visited on a Saturday, and it was very popular, with long lines even for the free-entry pavilions.
