The building is a masterpiece by the famous Japanese architect Hiroshi Hara, achieving an "integrated design of structure and form," leaving an important mark in the design of super high-rise buildings in Japan. 🎈 ✅The Umeda Sky Building connects the top floors of two skyscrapers, making it the first connected super high-rise building in Japan, forming a new architectural form of "connected super high-rise." The giant cantilevered space, about 150 meters high, connects the sky and the ground, creating a solemn atmosphere like a circular temple. The building's curtain wall continuously reflects the sky, extending the giant circular dome in four directions, as if sending the sky garden into the vast sky. ✅In addition to the "Sky Garden" on the top floor, the building also has a "Sky Bridge" on the 22nd floor, serving as a transportation link between the two buildings. 🎈 The building's biggest highlight is its structural system - when water load is applied, the "Sky Garden" can transmit forces between the buildings, creating a counteracting effect on the short side direction of the two tall and wide buildings; at the same time, the "Sky Bridge" adopts an arc-shaped truss structure, with one end fixed and the other end as a roller, serving as a transportation corridor between the two buildings while absorbing relative deformation between the buildings.
