Kiyomizu Temple and Ancient Cemetery

Kiyomizu Temple is easily accessible from anywhere in Kyoto using public transport. It’s about a 10/15 minute walk from the nearest bus/metro station and costs 200¥ to access. Beyond the point of entrance there are some small walks you can take to other sights in the area. As far as temples go, this one is pretty cool! but be prepared for large crowds. To avoid the crowds, there are places close by the temple you can go such as the quaint traditional garden (600¥ entrance fee) or keep walking and it will get quieter with every 100m you take.
