Duomo Di Orvieto

Duomo Di Orvieto is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in the town of Orvieto in the Umbria region of central Italy. It is large in scale and was ordered to be built by Urban IV in the 14th century to commemorate the miracle of the Corpus Christi of Bolsena. It is said that in 1263, in the nearby town of Bolsena, a priest who traveled here doubted the doctrine of transubstantiation, and as a result, he found that his sacramental bread was bleeding a lot, so much so that it stained the altar cloth. This cloth is now stored in the Corpus Christi Chapel of the cathedral.
