[Sumiyoshi Shrine/Tokyo] A shrine known for its retro atmosphere and cat town

Sumiyoshi Shrine in Ome City, Tokyo 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍 𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃◌𓈒𓐍𓂃 The shrine is said to have started in 1369 during the Nanboku-cho period when Enmei-ji Temple's founder, Kiryu, enshrined Sumiyoshi Taisha Shrine in his hometown. 　 It is the main shrine of the old Ome village. Going through the large torii gate, there are steep stone steps. There was a sign🪧 saying that there are also gentler slopes. The stone steps are quite steep, but the view of Ome city from the top is amazing. The worship hall, offering hall, and main hall that come into view in front of you are still intact from the Edo period. The sculptures are simply amazing! And this area is known as a town of retro and cats.
