Honeymoon Bliss at Sun Siyam

Our honeymoon at this resort was unforgettable. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive， consistently going above and beyond to ensure a wonderful stay. Upon arrival， we were met at the airport and quickly taken to our speedboat. After a 45-minute ride， we reached the island and received a warm welcome. We checked in with our island host， Rustem， who was fantastic. After a tour， we settled into our villa. The deluxe water villa was nice， though a bit dated. They're updating them， which is promising. The stunning views and the ocean's beauty are truly captivating. Witnessing so many beautiful sunsets felt like paradise. The food was excellent! I'm quite picky， and some meals were a bit spicy， but the Thai restaurant is highly recommended. Special thanks to Akash， Khaled， and Chef Mariam for their fantastic service. The downside was only having one buffet restaurant open， which was a sweaty 15-minute walk from our villa due to the season. As a honeymoon treat， Rustem arranged a dolphin cruise for us， and we got a complimentary chocolate cake， which was delicious. Bring your marriage certificate to arrange special treats. A highlight was visiting Dhoni’s bar and sipping milkshakes by the infinity pool. Every visit was fantastic， and Doss was incredibly friendly! The spa ladies were amazing， and we loved our treatments. We started with a couples massage. Despite some sunburn， they ensured we were comfortable and relaxed. I also had the best facial I've ever experienced. It was worth every penny. Finally， the range of water sports and activities impressed us. We did the whale shark snorkeling， costing about $600 for both of us. In the morning， we could dive with a whale shark， and in the afternoon， we swam with manta rays—an incredible experience. I got nervous in the water with so many people， but guide Apen helped me feel at ease. Sadly， I became violently seasick， but the guides and crew were very caring. I can’t thank the diving team enough for their support. Without them， I wouldn't have developed a love for snorkeling， which we did most mornings. The house reef is beautiful， and the resident turtles are adorable! There are so many more things to say， but in short， Sun Siyam truly is paradise!
