Li Jiang Yunnan wild wild experiences

#travellerswonderland After we landed Kunming airport midnight. We moved on to Li Jiang the next morning by using HSR China. We checked into an authentic extraordinary hotel in the old town and warmly welcomed by the lady owner Ting Ting. Our room had been upgraded by her and she also assisted us with our local tour arrangements. Stayed in Li Jiang for 3 happy nights and really had a good experiences and really enjoyed the famous old town in Yunnan. My wife wore a traditional local minority ethnic costumes called ‘Zhang Zhu’ and took large number of photos. During the day we went to the local tallest snow mountain named ‘Yi Loong Snow Mountain’. It was reaching 4680 height and required to bring few bottles of oxygen just in case we needed it. We took the cable car rides up to the tallest station and enjoyed the snow Mountain View. It was superb and breathtaking views all over snow mountains. After we came down from the mountain, we went for another tourist attraction called ‘Blue Lake’. The views was spectacular and we stopped there for an hour walking around before we moved on to lunch. The lunch provided was overall average most probably the tastes suited more to local instead of tourists. After this tour we came back to Li Jiang town for local famous Mushroom steamboat. Oh my god, it was delicious and great. We spent total three evenings in the old town just to enjoy different part of views and did some shopping. Overall Li Jiang experienced was memorable and we will come back to this lovely town again in near future just to enjoy and stay like a local with slow paths and wake up late in the morning. Highly recommended to everyone to visit this lovely historical authentic Yunnan old town!
