Due to limited time and the fact that Arxan is too far from the northern route, I had to skip it. October 1st 250km Hailar Railway Station (9 AM) ——— Morigele River (10 AM—1 PM) ——— Ergun Wetland Park (3 PM-4 PM) ——— Deep into the Wetland (4:30 PM-5:30 PM) — Stay in Genhe October 2nd 100+km Genhe (9 AM) ——— Moerdaoga Forest Park (1 PM-5:30 PM) — Stay in Moerdaoga October 3rd 100km Moerdaoga (10 AM) — Shiwei (1 PM-2 PM) — Linjiangtun, Shenxianpo Sunset (3 PM-6 PM) — Stay in Linjiang October 4th 200km Linjiang (5:30 AM-6:30 AM Sunrise) ——— Ka Line (7 AM-1 PM) ——— Heishantou Horse Riding (2 PM-3 PM) — Roadside Wetland (3 PM-4 PM) — Hilltop Sunset — Stay in Heishantou Mongolian Yurt October 5th 200+km Heishantou (7 AM) ——— Manzhouli (12 PM) — National Gate (15min) ——— Matryoshka Square (30min) ——— Lubuli Restaurant (1.5h) ——— Shopping, Dashan Russian Supermarket (2h) ——— Evening Train Overall, it was quite leisurely and not rushed. Moerdaoga Forest Park🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 * A very surprising place, many places had lost their leaves during the National Day, but here retained the most, golden and beautiful. * Be sure to bring insect repellent and ointment!! There are a lot of ticks that will crawl into your hair and clothes, and there are many bees (wasps too), I got stung. * Self-driving route is more free than the small train. Heishantou🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 * The sunset is so beautiful, the trees in the wetland are golden, and the water is super blue. * The best place to watch the sunset varies with each season, ask the locals. Linjiangtun🌟🌟🌟 * Go to Shenxianpo in the afternoon, you can see the very blue Ergun River. * The sunset at Shenxianpo is average, far worse than Heishantou. * The sunrise at the north slope is very beautiful, with a high chance of encountering morning fog. Ka Line🌟🌟 * The entire Ka Line follows the Ergun River, the water is very blue. * The scenery during the National Day is average, the landscape is very monotonous, more beautiful at the end of September and in summer. * No need to go there specifically during the National Day. * The wind is stronger and colder than other places. Manzhouli🌟🌟 * I love shopping at Dashan Russian Supermarket, delicious and cheap! * Lubuli Restaurant is a must-visit! * Matryoshka Square is just an amusement park, no need to go inside. * The lobby of the Matryoshka Hotel is super beautiful!! Palace style, very Russian! Shiwei🌟 * Very commercial, can be finished in half an hour, the bread sold inside is quite good. * There is a particularly yellow section of road from Moerdaoga to Shiwei.
