#Spring0yentrip When I visited Okayama Korakuen, I was captivated by the beautiful Japanese garden spread across a vast area. Construction of this garden began in 1687 by Okayama feudal lord Ikeda Tsunamasa and was completed in 1700. It is known as one of the three most famous gardens in Japan. The garden features spacious lawns, ponds, artificial hills, and teahouses, and you can enjoy different views every time you walk through it. In particular, the view from Mount Yuishin overlooks the entire garden, with the castle tower of Okayama Castle reflected in the background, making it a truly spectacular sight. In addition, historical buildings such as Enyo-tei, which was used as the living room of successive feudal lords, and the Noh stage are scattered around, allowing you to feel the atmosphere of the Edo period. This garden, decorated with flowers of every season, is a place where you can discover new charms every time you visit.
