Introducing the driving trips I actually took in Oita and Kumamoto! ! I especially recommend it in the fall when the leaves turn beautiful! Start from Oita Airport! Rent a car and go for a drive 🚗 ⇩ Enjoy the local Oita delicacy "Nakatsu Karaage" ⇩ Visit Usa Jingu, the main shrine of the Hachiman Shrines! The vermilion shrine was very beautiful. The grounds are large, so be careful about allocating your time. ⇩ Japan's No. 1 pedestrian-only facility! Enjoy the panoramic view from the "Kukju Bridge". ⇩ ※Yamaai no Yado Kiyasuya A member of the Japan Society for Preserving Secret Hot Springs. The Japanese modern rooms and rooms with open-air baths were very nice. It's a popular inn, so we recommend making reservations early. Head to a private hot spring that you can enjoy for a day trip. You can enjoy the white-blue hot springs at "Horei no Yu" in Waita Onsenkyo. The bath water is replaced every time. The fee varies depending on the size of the bath. 1. Beppu select beppu I was walking along the street in front of the station where Beppu Onsen is located. I was thinking about looking at the local specialties and accidentally opened the door of the store. The sign at the door was wet by the rain, and the wet part took on a dark blue color, like a reflection of the sea and sky of Beppu. Handicrafts, agricultural products, food, art space. This souvenir shop, which rents an old house, embodies everything about the hot spring town of Beppu. The store has two floors in total. The second floor is the attic of a residential building. [Bicycle ride in Hita, a travel destination only I know🚲] The moment I chose as the best moment of my trip to Fukuoka is the moment in this photo.💛 I remember every single moment of riding a bike in a real Japanese countryside where there were no Koreans or tourists. When I think about that time, I'm so happy that I almost cry. Hita is a great place to visit along with Yufuin while traveling in Fukuoka using the JR Pass. At first, I was going to just go to Yufuin, but my sister strongly recommended it, so I decided to stop by for a bit. But I liked Hita the best over Yufuin👏🏻 Hita is not yet a well-known tourist destination, even among Koreans, but people who know about it call it Little Kyoto. In fact, there aren't any tourist attractions. However, I think Hita is a place where you can truly appreciate the natural Japanese countryside without tourists!! Just looking at my photo, isn't it a background that looks like it came out of a Japanese anime with such pretty colors?😊 📍Rent a bicycle at "Hita City Tourist Information Center"🚲 - Rental location: Hita City Tourist Information Center - Rental fee: ¥200 per hour (¥100 for each additional hour) - Rental operating hours: 9:00 AM ~ 5:00 PM As soon as you exit Hita Station, there is a "Hita City Tourist Information Center" on the left. We didn't make a separate reservation and just went there to rent it on the same day. Hita is a small town, so I think 3-4 hours including meal time would be enough. I went when the rental was over and only rode for 1 hour, which was a little disappointing, but I felt like I just looked around. After the bike rental time, we had a meal and went back to Hakata.😀 There is no separate course. I'm usually meticulous, so I plan my trips very carefully, but I went to Hita without a plan, just finding out where to eat. Even when riding a bike, I just roughly looked at the road toward the *riverside* and rode without looking at the map without a destination. True to its name, the cobalt blue waters spread out like a slice of tropical sea. Though the pond's surface is a clear blue, approaching it slowly heats up, revealing a temperature of approximately 98 degrees. Contrary to its beautiful appearance, the water is so hot it's practically intimidating. I was overwhelmed by the power and wonder of nature. The park is very spacious and boasts many attractions, including a greenhouse where tropical plants are cultivated. Personally, I find the contrast between the rising white steam and the deep blue pond striking. Despite its name, this mysterious place is actually quite soothing. As the name suggests, the landmark is a demon statue placed atop a large hearth, making it truly impressive! Upon entering the park, you're enveloped in billowing steam and the smell of sulfur. The colors of the ponds and springs vary from place to place, from sparkling emerald green to cloudy white boiling water. It was amazing to see such a diverse range of expressions created by the power of nature. Kamado Jigoku is also unique in that you can actually eat boiled eggs and pudding steamed in the hot spring water. The subtle sulfur aroma creates a strangely addictive taste. While the name "Hell" might make you feel a little intimidated, it's actually a place that's both inspiring and fascinating, and allows you to experience the depth of hot spring culture. Japan's only "hovercraft" has returned to Oita after 16 years! Hovercrafts, which I loved as a child, resumed operations in July 😆 Hovercrafts are vehicles that float on a cushion of air on the ground or water, but they feel completely different from boats! Even slight waves barely feel the rocking! Plus, it takes over an hour by express bus from Oita Airport to Oita City. By hovercraft, you travel across the water, so you arrive in about 30 minutes! And the price is about the same as a bus! If you're looking for the fastest way to the airport, a hovercraft is definitely the way to go! However, there are still limited flights, so be sure to check flight times and hovercraft operating times! #SummerThemePark This has been my favorite place since I was a child. The food is delicious, even though there's a line, and the attractions are more than enough for a trip with small children. The nighttime fireworks and daytime shows are both so much fun for adults, and I'm always glad I went. There are a lot of slopes, but it would be even better if they added more diverse areas at the bottom. They have a wide selection of souvenirs, and many of the seasonal goods are so cute you can only buy them here, so I definitely recommend you go and check them out.
