Mitarai Shrine 6033 Matsuoka, Oita City Prayers for protection from misfortune, matchmaking, road safety, and safe childbirth. Mitarai Shrine has many benefits, and when I visited, there was a person asking for their car to be purified. It's not a large shrine grounds, but there are seasonal attractions, and it shows a different side of itself every time you visit, such as the large votive plaques painted by the artist Kitamura-sensei and the monthly goshuin.
