[Obihiro, Hokkaido] A racecourse that can also be enjoyed as a tourist spot🏇

My first experience at a race track in Obihiro 🔰 There are few tourist spots in Obihiro city, and if you don't have a car, there are limited things to do other than eat, but I would recommend Obihiro Race Track for times like that 🖐️ I was skeptical about going to a horse race while sightseeing!? But I went, and it was the right choice and I had a blast 😆 Obihiro Race Track is the only place in Japan where Ban'ei horse racing is held. Ban'ei horse racing is a race where the jockey rides on a carrier and the horse pulls it, which is completely different from regular horse racing! There are two hills set up on a 200m long course, and horses weighing 800kg to 1000kg pull a nearly 1t load over them, which takes a lot of stamina, so they stop just before the hill to catch their breath. 🧐 Also, while in regular horse racing, the finish line is when the horse's nose is in, in Ban'ei horse racing, the finish line is when the horse reaches the very back of the load, so you can't miss it until the very end. 📝 You can bet or not!
