Ethical zoo in 🇹🇿

We visited the Nungwi zoo in Zanzibar out of curiosity and we were very pleasantly surprised. The zoo introduces you to a tour guide as you enter who is native to Tanzania and knows about the animals. Some of the smaller monkeys and deer can roam freely around the zoo. For most of the exhibits, the guide will take you into the zoo so that you can feed the animals which is very cool.
