Peacock Mountain runs north to south, separating the Lancang River and the Nu River; it also uses itself as a boundary to separate Nujiang Prefecture and Diqing Prefecture. In May and June, the mountains are green, the stretching meadows at the foot of the peaks are full of wild flowers, and the rhododendrons reflect the red color of the Tianxin Twelve Lakes on the top of the mountain. Put up a canopy, set up a tea banquet, and have a cup of tea. I don’t know how long the years have passed in the mountains. In late October, autumn is thick, the hillsides along the road are covered with forest, and yaks are walking leisurely in the pastures. Go to the wooden shed to drink a hot pot of butter tea and listen to the shepherd talk about his home life. At the end of November, the mountain peaks turned white and were covered with silver. There were prayer flags and I don’t know which gods lived here temporarily. There was no way to go up the mountain any further, as three feet of snow blocked our longing steps. Goodbye, it's already spring next year when the flowers bloom.
