Climbing Penang Hill, Penang Island🏝️/🇲🇾

Penang Hill 🗻: Located in the center of Penang Island, this spot has a spectacular view of the entire island at an altitude of about 830m. This is a report 📝 of climbing it on my own. Reasons why I recommend it: To George Town, a fashionable city that is a World Heritage Site ✈️ While I'm there, I might as well climb Penang Hill ⛰️ near the city❗️ and prepare for the climb 🧳. I was planning to take the 204 bus from Komtar Bus Terminal in George Town to the Lower ST cable car 🚠, but I missed it and arranged a car 🚙 with Grab. I arrived quickly. Now, at Lower ST, I used the toilet 🚽 and went! ⚠️There are no toilets or vending machines along the way. However, the area near the top is heavily touristed, so you won't have any trouble finding shops or toilets 🚽. The trailhead is just to the left of the cable car station 🚏. From there, it's all staircase hell‼ ️. Although the weather was a little cloudy, it was still very hot 🥵. Please prepare plenty of water. As I was climbing alone 😤, I met a dog 🐕? and a monkey 🐵. Also, since the mountain trail was along the cable car, I occasionally saw 🚠 and waved my hands 🖐️. And then I arrived at the top exhausted. The view from the top was 🙆♂️. I also visited a Hindu 🛕 temple. After a short break, I headed down the mountain. On the way back, I was hit by a ☔️ like a squall and came across a place where I had to rely on a rope, so it was a struggle 😅 But I made it down safely. Phew! How to get there: From George Town 🚌: Take a local bus (No. 204) from Komtar bus terminal to Penang Hill, about 45 minutes, 2 RM 🚙Grab: Set to "Penang Hill Lower Station", about 30 minutes from George Town. *My round trip Grab cost about 11 RM.
