New vegan bakery opens in Taikoo Place

A newly opened vegetarian bakery, you can eat vegan pineapple buns, vegan croissants and vegan savory pies, etc. There are savory food, sweet food and coffee drinks. Friends who work near Taikoo Place can save money. It just soft opened these two days, and the service is still being adjusted. I recommend the vegan salty pie and the pineapple buns with fillings. It is located on the basement level of the PCCW building in Taikoo Place. If you take the skywalk, be sure to land on the ground floor first to see it. There is soft opening these days. Follow IG on site and you can get a vegan croissant. There are a few dine-in seats nearby, where you can sit down and eat slowly. The various cakes, tarts and muffins are all vegan. By the way, this is a new branch line of The Cakery. If you have eaten their bread and cakes before, you probably know what it is. There are several sandwiches to choose from, note that not all of them are vegetarian, and there are several flavors of vegan croissants. The vegan pineapple bun is quite innovative and you won’t find it anywhere else in Hong Kong. Drinks include coffee and tea. You can choose between fruity and nutty coffee. The taste is similar to that of chain coffee shops, average. The plus point is that you don’t have to pay extra to switch to oat milk. The sandwiches took a long time to wait because we missed the order. The sourdough bread also seemed to have insufficient time to heat up and was dry and hard to bite. The ratio of mushroom filling to bread needed to be adjusted. The vegan cream cheeze was too thin and the flavor was not very clear. The pandan pineapple buns are surprisingly filling when cut into pieces. You can taste the faint pandan fragrance and it’s not too sweet. The bread itself is a bit dry, so it would be better if you heat it up and bake it until it is a little softer. It is ok to eat it with stuffing.
