Although it is located in a remote area, it has unique beauty due to its proximity to the fjord. The red and yellow wooden cottages next to the port are a classic photo-taking spot. Nusfjord has nearly 50 fishermen's huts, most of which were built in the 19th century. They were once used as temporary residences for local people to catch fish. Later, due to the rise of tourism, they are now converted into accommodation for tourists. Visitors have to pay 100 Norwegian kroner to visit the fishing village. Visiting in the snowy midwinter only highlights the isolated beauty of the fishing village of Nusfjord. Some of these old ochre-red wooden houses have been converted into small museums, displaying tools and props from the past fishing life; some have been converted into restaurants and cafes, where drinking coffee is particularly enjoyable. #NorwayTravel #NorwayTravel
