At the back, there is only a small skylight behind the principal Buddha image. Another distinctive feature of the chapel is that it is shaped like a junk's hull, or what is called "falling into the elephant's belly". The base of the chapel is curved like the curve of a junk, which is a characteristic of Ayutthaya-era chapels. Inside, there is a beautiful old principal Buddha image and rare original murals. Inside the temple, there are other interesting things, such as the largest Takhian tree in Thailand, which is over 1,000 years old. It is 40.40 meters long and a little over 4 meters wide.
