Chotikaram Temple, 200-year-old Chinese temple

#GetDiscountWithoutLuck - Wat Chotikaram was originally named Wat Sam Chin and was built around 2350. It is believed that it was built by three Chinese brothers. Later, Chao Phraya Choduk Ratchasetthi (there is no evidence of which Chao Phraya Choduk) was the one who carried out the renovation and construction. The temple received the royal charter of the boundary markers on December 5, 2460. Later, in 2483, the temple's name was changed to "Wat Chotikaram" according to the royal title of Chao Phraya Choduk. - The ordination hall of the temple has a curved base in the shape of a ship without a gable ordination hall. In front, there is a pediment, the gable is molded in the image of Phuritat Jataka amidst stucco patterns, flowers, and pottery. The niche is decorated with pottery as well. The 3-room brick and mortar pavilion has a principal Buddha image in the attitude of subduing Mara on a pedestal base, named Luang Pho Sukhothai.
