Beautiful Autumn View of Tapjeongho Lake

#fallingseason Tapjeongho is a man-made lake and is the second largest lake in Chungnam Province. The reservoir was constructed between 1941 and 1944. It is known as a great fishing location but has recently invested in making it more of a tourist area. On the North-side of the lake, there is a garden, a strawberry (Nonsan is famous for them) theme park, and a museum dedicated to General Gyebaek. They have also extended the boardwalks and opened more parking lots around the lake. The southern side has a lot of cafes and restaurants and there is a park area by the dam. In 2020, the 600m long suspension bridge was completed. As it is a pedestrian bridge, it allows people to walk across the lake. Before this was installed, it was very difficult to walk around the lake. Now, you can made a loop to enjoy the lake more fully. Also, along the dam, there is a water fountain and light show set to music. At night, the bridge acts as a very large back screen with LED lights that add to the experience.
