I went to Yakohi Shrine, a shrine on Nishinoshima, an isolated island in Oki District, Shimane Prefecture. Yakohi Shrine, located on the middle of a volcano (452m above sea level), is worshipped by sailors of the Sea of ​​Japan as a god of maritime safety. After a 20-30 minute hike, you can reach the shrine. It's hard to describe in words, but it was an interesting shrine built into a cliff.
