Qingmuchuan Ancient Town

Qingmuchuan Ancient Town is located at the junction of Shaanxi, Gansu, and Sichuan provinces, in Ningqiang County, Hanzhong, Shaanxi. It was once a major thoroughfare into Sichuan, and is known as a place where you can "stand in three provinces at once" and "hear the rooster crow in three provinces." Located in the hilly region of southern Shaanxi, the town is mainly mountainous, with the highest point at 2,079 meters and the lowest at 538 meters. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The town is located in a humid, north subtropical region, and is affected by the alternating Qinling Daba Mountain and southwest monsoon climates. The climate is mild and humid all year round, with four distinct seasons.
