The Mediterranean-style architecture with white walls and blue windows perfectly echoes the blue water and sky of Lugu Lake. The terracotta flower pots and rattan tables and chairs in the courtyard make every snapshot look like Santorini. Even the arches in the corridor are full of atmosphere, making the vacation vibe instantly full! Sea view terrace & starry lake view: The lake view room I stayed in has a super large terrace. During the day, I lie on the rattan chair watching the sparkling lake water, with green mountains and pig trough boats slowly passing in the distance; at night, turn off the lights and look up to see a sky full of stars, the Milky Way so clear it seems within reach, falling asleep to the sound of the lake, feeling extremely happy! Dining and afternoon tea: Breakfast is homestyle porridge, buns, rice noodles, and freshly ground coffee. After eating and drinking enough, it’s just right to go explore the lake. In the afternoon, the hotel also offers free afternoon tea with small cakes, fruits, and flower tea laid out on a full table. Sitting on the terrace eating and enjoying the view is so comfortable you don’t want to leave.
