The Sofitel Hotel Ningbo.

The Sofitel Hotel in Ningbo boasts a five star rating on most platforms. The high ceilings and smell of fresh Lavender as you enter the lobby makes you feel warmly welcomed. Check in was painless and easy. They have a spa, gym, swimming pool and both a Chinese and Korean restaurant. The superior double room has all major amenities, and also allows you to choose a room scent and a pillow menu. Decor is a little outdated and for some reason none of the outlets in the room work. Had to hire a power bank for most of my stay. The rooms need a head to toe revamp to stay relevant, however it was a comfortable stay none the less. Average price is about 700 Chinese Yuan per night excluding breakfast. The hotel is centrally located with a Walmart and the Wanda plaza within a small walking distance. Major attractions like the Ningbo museum and Romon Park are all very close too. If you don't mind a rug in your room and old fashioned decor, I would recommend this hotel. Overall I would rate it at 6 out of 10.
