If you follow the electronic map, you may miss Wuling Square and end up visiting in reverse order. In autumn, take bus 987 at the South Square of Ningbo Station, transfer at Xikou Bus Station, and take two stops to Wuling Square. Wuling Gate was built in 1930. It is the gateway to Xikou Town and a must-see place to enter Xikou Town. The three-room, two-story Wuguan-style city gate made of pinkish stone is one of the famous tourist attractions in Xikou. The door plaques on both sides of the city gate are inscribed with the words "Wuling". According to the introduction, the front was written by Yu Youren, a senior member of the Kuomintang and a famous calligrapher, and the back was handwritten by Principal Jiang. The upgraded Wuling Gate Square has greatly enhanced the image of Xikou's tourism gateway. From the square to the gatehouse, after entering, on the left is the small western-style house of Wenchang Pavilion, on the right is the former site of Wuling Middle School, and further ahead is the three-mile-long street of the national key cultural relic protection "Hometown of the Jiang Family".
