This time, the choice is Zheng's Seventeen Rooms Kaiyuan Guantang in Zhenhai, Ningbo. Let's talk about why to go: 1️⃣This is the largest and best-preserved group of ancient Ming and Qing buildings in China. You can see white walls, grey tiles, and small bridges over flowing water everywhere on the misty stone paths. 2️⃣As a family hotel, it has its own children's playground within the scenic area. 3️⃣The hotel organizes activities from time to time, which children can participate in, and also allows fireworks to be set off in the hotel. Okay, the reasons for going are over, the rest is to take action and experience it. The experience this time can be summarized in the following parts: 🚗In terms of travel, the hotel is located in Kaiyuan Guantang, Seventeen Rooms, Ningbo. It takes about two and a half hours to drive from Shanghai. Please note that the hotel's parking lot is not large and there is no underground parking. If you arrive late, you may not be able to park. 🏠Accommodation conditions, the hotel is divided into two phases, the first phase is the guest room with ancient architectural style, and the second phase is the independent small residence. This time I lived in the second phase, and the room pictures are posted above. Overall, the room is standard, not too large, with a small courtyard, and the sound insulation is also acceptable. The only drawback is that the bed is too small, and my 1.8-meter tall body hangs over the edge when I sleep. 🎠Children's playground The hotel has its own children's playground and a swimming pool. The size of the children's playground is as shown in the picture. It's not very large, and my child played in it for more than two hours. The swimming pool has a major flaw, the water is shallow and the area is small, suitable for children to play, but not for adults to swim. 🎡Hotel activities There are some intangible cultural heritage experiences in the scenic area, such as tie-dyeing, movable type printing, bonfire parties, and lantern sticking, which are relatively simple and suitable for children to experience. Activities will be changed regularly. When you check into the hotel, you will also receive a Hanfu experience coupon, but it didn't look very good, so I didn't try it. 🍚About catering There are two Chinese restaurants in the scenic area, Zheng Family Kitchen and Jianghu Restaurant. The taste is not bad, the main feature is large portions and affordable prices. The quality of breakfast is average, don't have too many expectations. If you really want to eat other food, you can drive to the nearby Aegean Sea or Wuyue Plaza, which is about a 20-minute drive one way. ☝️Special experience this time As a Shanghainese, I realized the freedom of fireworks🎆 in this hotel. There are fireworks shops near the hotel, and the hotel also sells some. Setting off fireworks at night is very comfortable.
