I dropped by around 10:30 on a Friday, and a person wearing a guide badge was gathering people, telling them to come over and that he would explain things to them. Once a certain number of people had gathered, he carefully explained the history of Rinno-ji Temple and Nikko, the meaning of each building, and more.
