I was fortunate enough to visit Western Sichuan! I was really amazed!

Gemo Temple, also known as Huiyuan Temple, is one of the three major monasteries of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism in Aba Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Although I don't have any in-depth research on Buddhism. But I was attracted by its magnificent temple buildings and Buddha pagodas. It is a sacred place of baptism that cannot be missed. 🚗Transportation Gemo Town is about 13 kilometers away from Aba County. It takes about 40 minutes to drive by car, the traffic conditions are good, and cars can pass. 🎫Tickets and opening hours -Gemo Temple is currently open to tourists for free, but please observe the temple's visit rules and time. -The main entrance of Gemo Temple is not open to tourists, you need to drive to the west of the temple (close to the main hall to enter the side door) -The time to visit the main hall exhibition hall, you need to avoid noon, the exhibition hall above the 7th floor is closed. 📷Visit strategy (no photography allowed indoors📷) 1. Temple architecture: The architectural scale of Gemo Temple is magnificent, and the yellow, white, and red buildings are very spectacular against the blue sky. There are exquisite Thangka paintings in the temple, with bright colors and strong religious colors. 2. Faxi Garden: Faxi Garden is the core building of Gemo Temple, with many Guinness World Records, including the largest conjoined Buddha hall building in China and the tallest indoor Maitreya Buddha statue in China. 3. Bodhi Dabao Pagoda: The Bodhi Dabao Pagoda on the east side of the temple is the treasure of Gemo Temple. It houses the golden stupa of the skull relic of Tsongkhapa, the founder of the Gelug Sect. 4. Turning the scriptures: There is a long corridor for turning the scriptures on the outer periphery of the temple, with 36 large scriptures and more than 1,500 small scriptures. Turn the scriptures clockwise to feel the piety of local believers. 📒Travel Tips - Dress: It is recommended to dress conservatively, avoid exposing clothes, and show respect for local culture. - High anti-preparation: The temple is located at an altitude of 3,450 meters. If you have high anti-preparation, it is recommended to bring some glucose and cola. - Drones are not allowed in the temple, and indoor shooting is not allowed. ⛰️Surrounding attractions - Langyi Temple: There is a national geographic recommended shooting point behind the temple, where you can overlook the panoramic view of the temple. - Gerdeng Temple: Another famous temple around Aba County, worth a visit. Gemo Temple, I think it is worth a visit, you can reserve 3 hours, it is a treasure trove of culture and art. Especially the indoor hall and exhibition hall, there are countless treasures, it is a place worth visiting.
