Edinburgh to Newcastle Train with LNER

Booked via Trip.com and got a £10 discount on return tickets compared to buying at the station. LNER trains are always quite comfortable ,with access to toilets and a bar to get food and drinks, including alcoholic beverages. The actual journey to Newcastle was very scenic and it helped that it was a rare sunny November day in the North . There were excellent coastal views throughout the roughly 90 minute trip , highlights being Berwick upon Tweed and the Tyne bridge as you enter Newcastle . Overall this was a great way to see more of the country if you have limited time here in the UK and the train route was fast and convenient .
