why you should visit the Brooklyn Bridge

A landmark in NYC, the Brooklyn Bridge is one of the 3 bridges that connect Manhattan to the main land. The other 2 are the Manhattan Bridge and the Williamsburg Bridge easily remembered by BMW. There's a pedestrians walkway in the middle of the bridge with traffic flowing on either sides. You feel safe walking up the ramp as there's a lot of safety features. However for the stupidly inclined, there's opportunities to obviously do the stupid. At the beginning of the bridge near the city hall, there are a lot of vendors selling caps, magnets and similar traveler targeted wares. The price for these items are certainly cheaper than other tourist spots by a dollar or two. There are plenty of tourists vying for foothold and scenic spots. We even encountered a few people on motorized vehicles, bicycles and such. From the bridge, we thought we could take a clear shot of the statue of liberty but the lady was quite far and even with the maximum zoom, she turned out grainy. It's a pretty good experience to walk up and down a historical monument like the Brooklyn Bridge.#newyork
